from the standpoint of within a single game, i actually don't totally agree with this. in my opinion, a better single-game motto would be something like, 'get on top, stay on top' or 'pedal to the metal, 100%'.

but from the point of view of an overall season, now is the perfect time to put this - "It's not how you start, but how you finish." - into effect.

Yeah, it is frustrating. We've had a lead in every game this year. We had the ability to win, it just didn't happen. That is disappointing.

That said, having suffered through Seahawks teams that had no chance at longstanding success, I'll take this frustration over what we had back then. It just shows how fleeting success can be at the top, how difficult it is to stay on top of the mountain.

This team can still win, but it has to be done the hard way now.

Problem is neither the O or the D are finishing, it's a two headed problem.
