In the last SB, ADB caught a touchdown pass and then did a ridiculous "celebration" where he pretended to poop out the football which drew a flag. It was later in the game and who knows what would have happened if the Patriots didn't get the additional 15 yards on the kickoff. It was stupid and immature but was something that we came to expect from ADB.

After the loss I got the impression that he sincerely regretted doing that. This year Doug Baldwin appears to have grown. In his interview after the game today he just seemed to be much more mature about his gameplay. There were no antics about "thought we were pedestrian huh!" or other comments about not being respected and such as he has done in the past.

He has quietly been having a really good year and I for one am happy to say goodbye to ADB and welcome Doug Baldwin to the fold. With Jimmy out for the rest of the year and the defense not playing stellar his importance to this team is greater than it's been in his entire career.

Here is to watching DB say everything he needs to say with his play on the field!! GO HAWKS! :thirishdrinkers:

Excellent post. We should be trying to extend Baldwins contract another couple years. He's that good and perfect fit for this team (not a diva)

What a game. He's now on pace for about 1000 yds and 9 tds and will probably see a few more targets with Graham out.
