Wearing Other Team's Gear

Sitting here at the game I've seen Broncos, Texans and Stealers jerseys so far...

Why do people wear gear to a game that particular team isn't playing in?

Seems kinda dumb to me.

Because they're fans of those teams. I'd wear my Hawks jersey at another teams game. Wouldn't you?

No, if I would not. If I went to a eagles -cowboys game I would not wear my Wilson jersey. It's dumb.

If I were given tickets, or invited to a random nfl game I would go. I would also wear a seahawks jersey, cuz that's my team.

Do you wear Seahawks gear when there's no game? I do. Their my team. I wear Trailer Lazer gear to Jazz games. Cause I can. I'm rooting for anybody but the home team. Lol.

Then again some people think wearing a jersey at all is dumb period. To each his own, I suppose.

When I was going to school in Cinncinnati I went to Bengal and wore my Seahawks gear to both the games I went to. By the end of the game I had someone wanting to trade my Seahawks hat for their Bengal hat. A lot of the fans thought it was cool I was wearing my teams gear.

I guess I am one of the dumb ones then as I wore a Wilson jersey to watch the Raiders defeat the Broncos from an executive suite last weekend. I thought it was fun

Well the festival tent is a bit much, sure. But good on them for repping their squad.

I also see people wear rock band t-shirts to a concert where that band is not performing. I wouldn't do that but.....

I'd definitely wear my hawks gear. I went to the Bengals/Seahawks game this year and saw a few people wearing Broncos gear, and while it did look like a fish out of water, I found it hard to knock someone repping their team. And honestly, it makes for some good conversation when you run into these people IMO.

I absolutely do it. I wear hawks gear quite often whether there is a game or not.

My company has season tickets to the Ravens and I go to at least 1 Ravens game every year. I have been to every play-off game held at M&T Bank Stadium. Every one of those games I have my Hawks gear on. I also see fans of other teams there with their fav team jersey on.
No, it is not dumb. Quite the contrary. Very supportive
