First things first.. lets have a little trivia question.. answer will be below.

Quarterback A - 3538 yards, 29 TD, 7 INT
Quarterback B - 3379 yards, 29 TD, 6 INT

Who is who? Stay tuned!

1. Russell Wilson is no longer the leader in sacks.

Alex Smith and Blake Bortles have overtaken him.

Remember when he was on pace to finish with 70+ sacks and/or in a Seattle hospital? Not anymore!

2. Russell Wilson is second in completion percentage

He now sits at 68.8% .. trailing only.... *potential playoff subplot here*

Kirk Cousins - who has completed 69.7 percent of his passes.

3. Russell Wilson now needs only 462 yards for 4000

Would need to average 231 over his next two to hit 4K. Could be a challenge if Week 17 is a meaningless game. Still very cool to see!

4. Russell Wilson needs 4 touchdown passes to set the team record

He sits at 29. Dave Krieg (1984) holds the record with 32.

5. Russell Wilson's yards per attempt is off the charts good..

You would think a guy thats completed nearly 70% of his throws isn't throwing it deep right?

Not so fast my friend!

Wilson has the second highest YPA in the NFL, coming in at an impressive 8.5 yards per attempt. Carson Palmer leads the league with 8.8 yards per attempt.

6. Trivia Answer

A. Russell Wilson
B. Aaron Rodgers

Aaon Rodgers is having his worst year since he became a starter in his 4th season in 2008. Completing a career-low 60% of his passes vs. 69% for Wilson. Rodgers is also averaging just 6.76 yards per attempt vs. 8.5 yards per attempt for Wilson.

Russell was underpaid last season ... In the offseason, we gave him a $20 millions bump ... and he is still underpaid ... When are we going to finally pay him?

Too funny. I was looking at this before heading to work this morning. What I found to be really interesting is that Rodgers' Y/A (6.8 ) and NY/A (5.91) are both lower than Alex Freaking Smith and obviously Russell's (8.5 and 7.32).

Thanks for the stats, bud.

What we have here in Seattle, 12's, is an ELITE NFL QB.

He's proved it. He did before this season. But 2015 just cements it.

Truly elite. No QB exists on this planet that I'd rather have running this offense than first name Russell, last name Wilson!

What's even more mind blowing about the high YPA/completion % is that the YPA number would be noticeably-larger if he had even adequate protection in the 1st 1/2 of the season.

While we are in the world of hypotheticals, just think of what his numbers would be without blown DPI calls and drops in the end zone. The YPA would have been much higher, I think.
