That has changed for this upcoming draft and Comp picks are now allowed to be traded as a result of recent rules changes.

Why trade them?I mean don't we have to reload more than just a few spots? The best way would be drafting with all of our picks since a few won't make it anyway.

Trading comp picks was approved at a meeting in 2015. It was widely expected and reported that the vote would be to allow trading beginning with the 2016 draft. It seems that at the last minute, the owners changed their minds and voted to allow trading to begin with the 2017 draft. Pay close attention to the articles that state trading will begin in 2016. They are all written pre-vote and say what is expected to pass, not what actually passed. Of course they are all written like it was a done deal. That is why there is a lot of fan confusion on the subject.

Considering we'll be picking 32nd, packaging them for a trade is a wise idea

We got marshawn lynch for a 4th round pick. Don't necessarily need to trade them for other picks.

I think you mean 31 since patriots don't have a first round pick.

The Patriots have mastered the compensatory pick routine. Seattle is on the cusp of mastering the comp game better. Consistently converting undrafted free agents into comp picks (just a matter of time for the Seattle pipeline) = free picks.

It is the only way to maintain a dynasty in the modern era.

Sweet . . . have been looking forward to seeing that additional 3rd Rounder. That is the sweet spot in this draft.
