Good to finally have an answer. He had a legendary run in Seattle.

It's awesome that he can go out on his own terms and not get cut. I wish he could've had a great last season, but he obviously gave us all that he had.

Now I really need to go get a wolf grey Lynch jersey.

Thanks ML. Seems he has plenty of money he'll do just fine. I'm going to have to get a Lynch and Lockett jersey soon.

I hope he feels the love from Seahawks fans. There will never be another one like Beastmode.

That was the photo.
You can see the two finger "pease" sign in this screen shot. As in " Pease out"

I'd say that's about as definitive of an answer as it gets.

He went out like he wanted to. No press conference, no interview, just a quick nonchalant post and away he goes.

And so ends the Lynch era, and I for one am excited about the Rawls era. Thanks for the memories Beast Mode!

One of the greatest Seahawks in their history! Ring of Honor for sure. Was the real first piece of turning this franchise in the right direction.

Marshawn may go down as one of the most misunderstood athletes in history. Of course, part of that is his own fault. But his public persona and intense protection of his private life has hidden the secret life of a man who is fiercely loyal, consumately helpful, generous to a fault, and one smart marketer.

Marshawn will go down as one of the most beloved and polarizing figures in Seattle sports, rivaled only by Gary Payton. Hats off to you. You will be missed.
