Did he play Sam LB in his previous stint or was he only a situational pass rusher? Either way, he'd give Seattle a high floor at those positions heading into the draft. I hope the Seahawks get him.

IIRC he was best as a Leo rush specialist ... along with some special teams value.

IIRC He started for Clemons when he was recovering from his ACL and some SAM while Irvin was suspended in 2013.

Obie played well for the hawks when he was here and would be a nice add.

This would be an awesome depth signing.

OB is a good dude, and yes he played both Sam & Leo with the Hawks when he was here.

Good, versatile player. Not a world beater, and his upside is non-existent, but he's a guy who can fill in pinch and excell on special teams.

He doesn't have that many miles on him. I know he had a minor knee issue but I don't think it slowed him at all.

I believe he started in Atlanta. Maybe another year under Quinn and some quality playing time has made him a better player as well. I could see him coming here to compete for a starting position now that Irvin is gone.

His contract was pretty large and heavily criticized. They got cold feet.

Yes and he did a damn fine job too

I would enjoy having him back.

I'm for this! I thought he was a good player when here...

If we can get him for cheap it would help some from losing Irvin. Hes no Irvin but would add depth or rotation
