Proposal: .Net 2016 NFL Draft meetup in Chicago

Folks, the Draft is again in my front yard this year - Grant Park, Chicago. I'll be there, festooned with my 12th Man Flag and one of my seven jerseys.

Anyone else interested? I've been living here a long time, and I know some great food spots away from the crowds. Since Day 1 (April 28th) yields only one pick, I'll probably only show up for Days Two and Three (April 29th and 30th).

Had a lot of fun at the Draft last year, until some Raiders fans had a bit too much to drink:

I'll be there next year for sure. My girlfriend is from Joliet but grew up about 4 blocks from the lake. I'd be there this year but we're going to Vegas next month instead.

Im thinking about it. I have a free pad to stay at. Will PM if I pull the trigger. Had everything lined up last year until we trades our first pick.

I'd love to go but with limited travel time/funds, I'd rather go to Meca (Clink) for a game.

I will be there! Scouting for and watching the draft has been a longstanding tradition for me and my best friend. He is getting married so we are headed to Chicago for his bachelor party.

We are going to the first round, and will probably hit up a Cubs game on day 2 or 3.

One week to go. Sorry, folks.

I plan on being down there on Thursday afternoon, and try to get some tickets for the theater or the selection square that night. I will be rocking my white 1993 Mirer #3 jersey. Keep meaning to get a Wilson patch to put over it.

may go back in for Friday if I don't get in on Thursday.

Seam-rip the nameplate off, flip it, and have your local screenprinter add "WILSON". Re-sew. Bang.
