At this time, I guess Lane will start. After watching Browner last year, I can not see him starting.

I guess it's cool to reunite them, but I mean ehhhh. He was a headcase with the Saints.

Dude will be good for a few penalties this year. Great signing.

This guy cost us SB 49 with his jamming of Kearse and his off the field problems that led to his leaving. I don't like him anymore and think his play last year sucked ass.

Meh...He is not what he used to be, not even close and even then he wasn't great in coverage. He was an intimidator though. Lane is the starter opposite Sherm. I am wondering if they can use Browner as a tweener DB. The dude used to hit hard so in certain situations perhaps they can use him for that. I do remember that he used to suck big time in coverage and got a lot of penalties.
He might not make the squad.

Interesting. He was arguably the worst CB in football last season, but perhaps being back in our system will do wonders for him. Only time will tell.

Clearly they are looking for the swagger and not the skill. Browner and Clem signings are more about locker room and attitude than actual play on the field

Interesting, not sure how I feel about this. But adds more depth to our DB's. Maybe they will look at him to be a CB/SS tweener?

Good signing. Browner is a system guy and benefits from having sherm across and earl over the top of him. Like maxwell they do great in our system. When they leave they don't excel. He is a force against big guys on the edge.

This article says he played the entire year last season with a torn MCL suffered in the first preseason game. I know he's lost a step, but this could explain why he was so bad last year. I don't expect him to start but if he's healthy and back in our system, he could be good for depth and situational coverage. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000 ... sf24538502
