This is Pete's time to shine, his time to recruit in a league where recruiting's not really a thing. Stay tuned, and post 'em here if ya got 'em!

Is Vernon Adams still out there? Still hoping he winds up a Hawk.

As I posted in the other thread on this, there are quite a few intriguing names that are still out there if the Hawks act quickly. Just to name a few ...

QB Vernon Adams
WR Devon Cajuste
WR Mitch Mathews
TE Ben Braunecker
OT Nick Richter
SS Jeremy Cash

Being a huge Ducks fan, I'd love to see us pick up Vernon Adams as Russel's future backup.

Every time I watched him play, he would remind me of RW. Same styles of play.

If he ever needed to jump into a game as the backup, there would be absolutely no need to change the team's game plan.

We always bring in some local guys - and many have made the team and/or practice squad.

I predict Vernon Adams and Jaydon Mickens come to camp.

Paul McRoberts, Keyarris Garrett,

I'm taking it that you're in the same camp I'm in of looking at big WR's. Check out this physical freak (who just happened to go UNDRAFTED) ...

BYU's Mitch Mathews
6'6" ... 222 pounds ... and has 10.5" Hands
At his Pro Day, he recorded ...

38" Vertical
10' 9" Broad Jump
and ran the 40 in 4.42 seconds ...

How would all of that look in a Seahawks uniform ... all for the price of a phone call and an opportunity to prove himself on the football field?

I'd be shocked if we get Vernon Adams. If we wanted him we needed to draft him. He thinks he was the 2nd best qb in the draft. He's going to look for a spot where he can compete to start sooner than later. That's not Seattle.

Did George Fant get drafted? I didn't see it. Might be worth signing him. McGruff pointed out he could be O-Tackle material.

Tanner McEvoy would be intriguing to me.
