6'1, 188 lbs, with 32'' arms and a 41'' vertical. His 40, broad jump, 3-cone, and shuttle are in the same range as Sherman and Lane. He allowed just one TD and 40.5% of passes to be completed against him last season.

Schneider compared him to Lane and said he was a guy they would have considered drafting if they a wanted a corner. This could be one of their better UDFA signings ever.

A bit on the light side, perhaps, but I guess our S&C coaches can work on that if he sticks around.

He needs a lot of work on the deep ball. Even though he wasn't beat very often for a score he would be susceptible to letting guys beat him over the top for a nice chunk of yards. But the athletic attributes are all there. Will be fun to see him out there with the other CB projects they've been working on

We just need Sherm to provide some guidance on how to break things down...money if he listens.

This player had an elite short shuttle @ 3.94 and jumped a 41 " vertical with a 10'42 broad jump". As well he's 6'1" with 32" arms. His SPARQ # is 125.3.

His straight line speed in the 40 isn't spectacular @ 4.52 but the rest of his numbers are special and indicate he's likely the guy added to the pile this season @ CB to develop. His film shows he could learn to tackle better but is reasonable in coverage.

Colorado State also doesn't have an Earl Thomas giving help .. so there's that.

Elliot reminds me a lot of what Tharold Simon looked like coming into the league. Just needs to be coached up (and hopefully not wrapped in bubble tape) and there is potential there to be a good corner on this team.
