Watched some of him today and yesterday. He's really aggressive and highly instinctive. When you watch Rutgers he's always the first one to react to play development and he chases to the ball with wild abandon. He navigates traffic well. If Earl Thomas was a linebacker he'd play like Longa.

The downside is that he plays out of control, and that impacts his tackling. He overruns ball carriers and is left grasping at legs and ankles. Also I wonder about gap control in our scheme. Can he stay home?

He's an exclement looking chase and pursue linebacker.

Pete had good things to say about him after rook camp day 3.

Longa, French, Perkins, Overton, Robertson. It looks like the Hawks have nicely added to LB pile. Always compete. It's going to be interesting to see if anyone emerges. Last year's backups are on notice.
