Most of us thought that once we had the burger we would also get the buns.

Lovin' it but I was hoping for 5 like Schneider's deal...I'll take 3 years if it means we keep renewing his contract for 3 more years at the end of each deal.

Who knows? Knowing how energetic he is he just might.

The shorter contract makes sense for both sides to me. After the 2019 season Carroll will have completed a 10 year coaching stint here and will be a year away from turning 70. If he still has the fire to continue then that's a better timing for another extension for both parties.
