Saw this tweeted earlier. Interesting...

http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stat-a ... on-offense

1st without PA. 17th with PA.

YPP? What us that? Your link takes you to an article about YAC. I didn't dig but didn't see anything about YPP.

"Yds/Play "

I was on my phone, about to hop on a bus. I cut corners... No mention of YAC that I noticed though.

So then PA doesn't mean Pail Allen then huh?

You may see where I got a bit confused. How the hell does Paul Allen correlate to YPP?

Even when you spelled it out my first thought was why would our Yards per play have changed so significantly from before Paul bought the team to now?

Yeah I can be that simple at times.

Makes complete sense to me. Seattle struggled mightily out of the power offense last year, but kicked ass when going quick-tempo.

The 2012 Seahawks were probably the exact opposite.

That and you have to be able to hold blocks for a couple of seconds for play action. it's a longer developing play. When other teams instantly get penetration, it blows up PA something fierce.
