Ryan Robinson: He has a good shot, he wowed in camp last year and had a splash moment in ps4.

The Pope: Probably has very little chance because of a lack of versatility and pedigree. Nevertheless, he has worked his butt off and proved that he can rise to the occasion.

There's more but these two stand out to me.

Pope.

McEvoy.. who isnt a long shot now..a so-so shot.. but , man, after three days of watching him in TC I had written him off. But I was paying attention to the wrong things.. he looked lost, but he was staying late , getting advice, working on his release on the side..

I want to see Keenan Lambert, DeAndre Elliott, Brandin Bryant, Troymane Pope, and Palacio. 6 new UDFA (along with Boykin whos a lock.) Lets add a whole new batch of hunger.

I believe Elliot has been put on IR so he's here for now.

I would like to see a place made for Brandin Bryant. Needs work on
technique but has that uncoachable rocket get-off.

Tanner McEvoy brings a wide array of skills that will only get better.

I am going to be really disappointed if we lose Pope.

Not because we won't be OK without him, we will have Rawls & Michael, though I think he would make a difference in getting us a few important first downs throughout the year.

I will be disappointed because of what it will mean, the team will have changed an important process that was one of the key means by which it got so good in the first place.

Competition is broader than just what happens in preseason scrimmages. Just because the coaches see something in a player that we has fans with a lim8ted viewpoint do not, doesn't mean competition is compromised.

I'm going with Brandin Bryant.

His physical attributes are rare. He's comparable to Robert Nkemdiche, but with better college production and a better motor.
