Yeah, one of my favorite plays ever. ....and I love the fact that Largent talked a little smack to Harden right after the play, as he NEVER did that, but in that case after the cheap shot by Hardin 14 weeks earlier it was justified.

I always liked reading interviews with the Raider's all-pro corner Lester Hayes, he coined the title "The Great Steve Largent" and was the first to be able to describe what made Largent such a great receiver. My niece went to Christian school w/his kids in Bothell and I got to meet him a couple of times. He was just a very regular good guy.

Great find. Yeah, I remeber Lester calling him Mr. Largent. He was asked why, he said something along the lines of "it was out of a sign of respect for one of the best he's played against".dogorama":1np2sdny said:
