The Hawks have an incredibly green and shaky O-line, the Dolphins and the Rams have the best defensive lines in the NFL. This result, while sucky , should not be a surprise to anyone who follows the Hawks.

And, in spite of all the crap that went agains the Hawks in this one - injuries, penalties and 90-degree heat on the road, they were in a position to get the win against the Rams.

It's not time to panic right now, Seattle is tied with everyone else in the division at 1-1. Get the win against the 49ers next week and things get much better.

Do we ever make changes according to match up? It seems to me like we just run out plays and personel packages the same regardless of who we are playing.

No panic here. Just frustrated as hell at the ineptitude resulting from a lack of creativity or strategy on the part of our OC. One game doesn't make a season, but it sure can be the difference in playoff seeding.

Weird because the Rams defense looked like Crap against SF.

And the Dolphins defense looked like crap against NE, at least until NE was stuck using its 2182nd string QB so Miami could catch back up, but it was something like 31-10 before that happened.

ProTip: NFL teams tend to have good DLs, that is why nobody else puts green OLs out that that are incompetent, just like people try to avoid fielding a team of OL where half are converted DL guys that have no idea wtf they are doing.

The Jets are going to Massacre us.

we've known this for the past few years and still never address this issue.

One thing that is certain, the Seahawks still haven't learned how to cover the TE. Kendricks destroyed the Seahawks again. I'm thinking this is a schematic issue as it seems never to be fixed and we see it week after week. It's absolutely ridiculous how even mediocre TEs seem to have breakout games against the Seahawks. Kendricks isn't Olsen or Eifert but he did damage today. TEs are the Achilles heel for the Seahawk D.

We haven't even seen the best D line yet. That comes in 2 weeks in New York.

Yup, and I will expect the Hawks to have to gut out a close one then, too.

The Dolphins do not have the best dline in the NFL. And I'd probably argue against the Rams too. Rams have a top 5-7 line for sure. Dolphins Dline is not that good, they're all name recognition. Dolphins have an average Dline until they prove otherwise.

You got that right. The likes of Wilkerson, Williams (the young stud who is only 22 years old) and Mclendon will come at you all night long.

And they just got Richardson back. If we try and run he ball on them with our predictable offense, "it's called good night sweet prince."
