Doubt its a tear, can you walk with an MCL tear? He's walking around the sideline. Sprain seems likely.

I dont know i think you can, i could be wrong though. Sprains are not as bad and are manageable but can get reinjured worse.

The way his knee bent looked scary. Russell is gumby if he survived that with only a sprain.

Commentators stated you could, it's just a matter of how much pain you can endure.

Wilson does seem to have that Kobe Bryant level of pain tolerance.

Yes you can walk on a torn MCL. Likely just a sprain though. But you know how Wilson is

Wilson is smiling and laughing on the sideline. Not emblematic of a guy fearing his season is over.

Just to help prevent anyone losing their $#^& when they hear grade I or II MCL tear, just realize that a tear and a sprain are the exact same thing. A small tear is a sprain.... luckily the MCL typically has a good blood supply so it can often be treated non-operatively.

Looking at replay and Russ's reaction, there's a good chance there was at least some level of sprain. And again, the level of sprain goes hand in hand with the amount the ligament has "stretched" or "torn." But at this point it's all still speculation.

You can walk and even jog with a slight tear of the MCL or ACL.

Have a feeling he's out next week for sure and maybe even the game after the bye.

I'll bet anything there is zero chance he misses the game after the bye. I Might even bet he suits up next week.

Not without limping. He moved fine.

He will be fine.

Have a feeling he won't be out at all.
