I know we shouldn't take these numbers too seriously although I thought this tidbit was pretty exciting/interesting

"Frank Clark continues to be the one of the best pass rushers for the Seahawks. Clark pressured the quarterback 3 times, 2 hurries and 1 hit, all from the right side of the defensive line. The 2015 second rounder leads all 4-3 defensive ends in pass rush productivity with a 13.1 PRP and is tied for 10th for most pressures with 10."

The article also confirms Reed is just a beast against the run.
Here's the whole article if you're interested.

Shouldn't he be playing more snaps?
Who does he replace? Bennett or Avril or neither?

He replaces Irvin.

Bennett moves inside. Avril is on the left.

Except that he has become the pass rusher that Irvin was "meant" to be and then some considering Frank Clark can play inside against the run if need be as well. I was hoping Bruce would stick around but from what I can see of the Raiders he's not really the dynamic pass rusher they were hoping he'd be for the team.

So, what's our best front 7 in our base package?
And what's our best front 7 in obvious passing downs?

Clark and Reed's emergence is absolutely huge. We're not getting to the Super Bowl without a healthy DL.

The nickel offense isn't really the issue as there is space for all of Bennett, Avril and Clark there. In the Base however it's Bennett and Avril starting with Clark and Marsh rotating in to keep the starters fresh.
