The Mariners take the series from the Astros, but what we can't help but think what could've been if the M's didn't have the 6th inning they had yesterday?
By 'parsing Pete' it looks like Russell Wilson will start the game against the Jets. The Seahawks sign CJ Spiller, what does that mean for Thomas Rawls and Christine Michael?

John Clayton talks about what the Seahawks expect from CJ Spiller and what his acquisition means for the timetable on CJ Procise's return.
Also, John says since the Seahawks haven't added a QB to their roster, it means Russell will start against the Jets.
The Mariners will have something to play for this weekend and if things break the way they are now (both Detroit and Baltimore losing) they could play into October.
In "Sweeping the Dial" a fan tries to propose to his girlfriend at a Yankees game last night and lost the ring for awhile, Tim Tebow hits a HR on his first pitch in an instructional league game... then goes 1-5, and the Marlins' Dee Gordon talks about the team's Jose Fernandez tribute.

Seahawks receiver Jermaine Kearse joins the guys and talks about the season up to this point, introduces us to Mr. Positivity, and says the Huskies will beat Stanford on Friday night.
The Mariners have an interesting playoff scenario if the season should end in a 3-way tie. They can either play 2 home games (if they win the first one) or play the winner of a play-in game on the road. Do you really want to risk playing two game even if you are at home? Callers weigh in.
Also, is Russell Wilson's injury more serious than the team is letting on? Can a 'one-legged' Wilson lead the Seahawks to a road win over the Jets?
