This week's uniform...

Jets are wearing all white.

Do we go all blue, blue on gray...

...or finally try out blue on white, which we have not worn in this current uni design?

Might be cool to see something different. But I imagine it will be blue on gray, which I like.

I actually wish they would wear blue on gray at home. I am kind of tired of the all blue thing.

Hmmm, I think they have worn blue on white. Maybe not in reg season, but I'm sure I've seen it.

We wore it once with the previous version of the uniform. At Jacksonville, I believe. I can picture Joe Jurevicius in it for whatever reason (maybe he caught a TD).

We have never worn it in the new style.

Or the wolf greys, but we usually seem to save those for prime time away games (probably two of the three SNF games @ ARI, NE, or CAR).

People always make the claim that it cost us the playoffs, which it didn't.

What I did hear on the radio the other day was that the Coaching staff had an automatic renewal clause if they won enough games that year and the loss put them below the threshold. Anyone heard that before?

Well it did automatically eliminate us from playoff contention. I'm not sure how the tie-breaker would have shaken out with us and NE both at 9-7 (having lost to Denver in week 17), but 10-6 would have been good enough.

But then we got Holmgren and went to the SB, so...

Regarding the OP, it'll probably be blue on gray. Our record in those doesn't feel like it's been very good recently. Could be wrong.

Side question tho: Since we've got those color rush uniforms against Los Angeles, do those count as an alternate uniform? I know you can only wear alternates twice in one season, and the team is still unbeaten in the wolf greys. Just curious if anyone knows if the color rush counts as an alternate uniform. Thanks!

Nope. Teams can still wear an alternate outside of color rush.
