I'd have to say it's HAWKSOME timing for a bye week. Truly.

Is PERFECTLY placed for the Seahawks at this point.

Any arguments against that?

Byes later in the year tend to be better because injuries typically happen with time. Plus, RW was so freakin' good today, it's almost as if he doesn't need any time off.

So I think we'll know with hindsight if it was the best time of the season. Hopefully, it was !

Normally, no, but with Russ gimpy, it's not totally bad to have it now. There is a secondary answer, some players/coaches don't like the late bye because it can interrupt momentum on a winning streak.

This year, I'll take it without complaining. With Rawls on the sideline, it means one less game he'll miss. Hell, he didn't look it, but maybe this will be good for Jimmy, too. He's pretty fresh off that knee injury, too.

The R W that was out there today was obviously gimped.

In the second half it was quite noticeable that RW wanted to run but couldn't (Read option fail) Hope this team heals up quick, because the second half of the season is shaping to be some epic games.

Bye week timing is terrible. Next Sunday i will be bummed cuz the Huskies blew out my Ducks, and I will not have the Seahawks to cheer me up.

Lockett could use a week off as well. Having Russ and all our weapons healthy is a scary thing.

LOL :)

Our 2014 season we had a week 4 bye, ended up in the Super Bowl.

The bye is good anytime unless it kills momentum.

Our starting RB and DT are out
Our starting QB, slot and TE are hobbled.
And we played 2 of the 4 more physical teams in the league (St. Louis and NYJ) good time for a bye.

Week 10 or later gets my vote. Rest up for the playoffs.

First round bye is a good way to rest up for the playoffs...

I think the bye-week comes at an awesome time. Next week, No problem, were watching the Huskies make up 11 years of futility in one hour.
