My takeaways from Benoit, by way of preview:

* Bevell is really arriving this year, even more than last year. Better at sticking with the hot hand and not trying bonehead personnel choices. Also has figured out how to use Graham, though that may be a factor of game-planning specifically against unique coverages.

* Richard also looks good light of Benoit's comments. Really mixing things up. Although I wonder if a greater QB would have been tougher to fool. Still, lots of comments on our individual defensive guys.

* Mad props to Britt

* Wilson still likes to leave the pocket. My feeling is that Bevell and his receivers, rather than just his injury, is keeping him there more.

* I'd like to find that tweet I read that said Wilson doesn't have elite ball placement. And laugh at it.

Yeah... anyway to condense them into one link?

I'm open to suggestions. Maybe there's a Twitter option I don't know about.

I've posted this stuff before...why are people objecting now?

Funny how Bevell arriving coincides with Pete feeling comfortable and taking the gloves off with regards to Russ.

If anyone thinks Bevell was free to do this in Russ' first three years in the league - you are crazy.

I think this is the first time we are seeing Bevell have more autonomy on the offensive side and the results are excellent so far.

He has always been a great play designer and I think we are seeing that creativity flourish.

yes. bevell finally figured out how to use graham and rode the hot hand with Wilson instead of trying to force our nonexistent running game.
props to him, he may finally be figuring it out

Its funny some of the criticisms Bevell receives. Of all the OC's in the league, he is the closest by nature to Holmgren's version of the true WCO. But under Pete to this point he hasn't really shown that. But the last 10-12 regular season games I think we are seeing it more. More quick passes. More slants and digs and crosses. More TE passing. More presnap movements and multiple look setes.

The critique of Bevell in Minnesota was that he passed too much and threw deep too little. A lot of quick short passes (ala WCO) . . . then he comes here and its run, run, pass deep . . . I think that has way more to do with Pete and Marshawn than it does Bevell. Remove Marshawn, trust your veteran QB, and what you get is a purer form of a true Bevell offense.

No objections Montana, just wasn't ready for a face full of Tweets that early in the AM.

Excellent post.

A lot of people don't realize just how much control Pete has over the offensive game plan, and over Russell's game.

Remember the epic comeback in Houston with the Sherman INT? When did the comeback start? When Marshawn told Russell, "Just take over the game Russell!"

At that point, control of the game plan shifted to Wilson and Lynch's hands.

Agree. Unreadable as is IMO.
You could always copy/paste the text into a format of your liking and post that. Or, enjoy it the way it is ;)

People who take effort to find and post good fun should be commended for it.

Dude goes out of his way to post a nice, informative string of tweets (and even give a little summary of key points beforehand!) and people complain about the readability? Then don't read it, I guess. I don't see how it's hard to read, but whatevs.

Anyway, I wouldn't be shocked if Carroll exerted a ton of caution over the offense and so Bevell was somewhat hamstrung. Clearly there are points at which this offense has had a string of good performances, so whenever Wilson and the OC are allowed to adapt (as in '12 with the RO, last year in the passing game), hey, I'm happy! When Bevell calls a good game, he deserves credit. He called a good game last week and Wilson was elite in executing it.

Thanks Montana! Great observations in the Tweets, and I had no issue with the format.

No problem with text here either. I know reading is difficult for some. There are these things called BOOKS have lots of text together for a long time with no pictures usually. You may find one at the Smithsonian.
