And then he dropped one later because he knew Kam was going to destroy him

Gronk was lucky it was Earl hitting him and not Kam.

That one was tipped but Earl rocked him to his core. Nice.

"It is what it is"

Gronk's comments after the game about the non-call.

I like that.

Gronk did his job on that with the theatrics, but he actually initiated the mutual shoves and 'grabbiness' action. Well played by both players, but one had to come out on top.

I don't think he could muster the lie that Kam interfered him and not the other way around.

Or... he just shuts his trap and plays.

I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. Actually, its pretty refreshing that there isn't much from the Patriots this morning about it.

They just get on with it.

It was a beautiful, textbook flop by Gronk.

Jeff Triplette would've thrown the flag.

Dude pushed Kam off. If there was gonna be any flag there it should've been on him. Either way, I kinda liked having them playing it out. I always thought that Kam was the perfect guy to cover Gronkowski. He just matches up with him perfectly.

As much as I feel there fans are insufferable the fan forum I read (from our link) was not bad. They seem well informed and were generally not assuming a victory before the game. After the loss many said the better team won. They seemed pretty well informed and grounded.

Gronk had two assignments on that play: draw a penalty to get a fresh four or catch the touchdown. He did neither.
Pretty good way to put it.

Couldn't of said it any better..... That play,,,, is today's NFL.

which is why I scream at my tv when the hawks accept a penalty pushing teams back but also letting them redo 3rd down. In this NFL a conversion is only one long pass and PI/defensive hold away.
