Old news sure, I'm still happy anytime I see this. My favorite athlete of all time that really influenced how I played sports growing up and even now

So happy for him.

Agreed, it may have been already discussed, but as it gets closer to the actual vote, It's nice to continue to see it brought up. I am extremely hopeful that he can finally take his place in the Hallowed Hall.

We Seattle fans think so, and know how he played. Two things work against him. Playing in Seattle, he didn't get the national recognition that Lott got in San Fran. And, his career was far, far too short.

I still hope he gets in, but it seems like long odds to me.

Yeah but he's a nominee of the seniors committee this time, this is his strongest chance of making it. He has strong advocates and a seniors committee nominee has some extra special sauce that goes with it.

Since its inception about 75% of the nominees make it in. I think the most notable in my mind of recent memory from the seniors committee is Kenny Stabler and Ray Guy.

So here's hoping!

And more hope ...

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/pro-f ... -for-2017/

To be eligible to be nominated by the Seniors Committee, a player has to have been out of the NFL for at least 25 years. The good news for Easley is that every senior member who's been nominated since 2009 has eventually earned induction into the Hall.

Really really really want it bad for him. Here's hoping

Based on some of the names that made it in from this list, Easley should be a lock.

And it's absolutely criminal that Jerry Kramer didn't make it in. Who's Frosted Flakes did he piss in while he played?

And yes, I'm a Vandal, it's still a crime he's not in.
