Need To Know: Huskies junior cornerback Darren Gardenhire abruptly announced yesterday that he has left UW's football program, just four days before one of the biggest Apple Cups in history. Husky Coach Chris Petersen termed the decision "a difference in philosophy."
The Sounders take on the Colorado Rapids in the first leg of the Western Conference Finals tonight at 7:00 pm at Century Link. It's a two-game series with aggregate scoring so the Sounders will head to Colorado for game 2 on Sunday.
