Quinton Jefferson

With all the talk about Earl's injury, I was just trying to think who have we lost from either offense or defense for the year in terms of injury. I couldn't think of one player, but remembered Quinton Jefferson had a couple of injury problems,

Is he done for the year? Or able to return at some point?

In the back of my brain I had hoped he was IR designated to return but think Mike Morgan had that allocation for the year?

Appreciate the more knowledgeable posters correcting my ignorance here!

Mike Morgan is the IR returnee this season. QJ is out for the year.

Ah as I feared. What injury did QJ have? I thought he hurt his hand early on but then there was something else ?

He had to have season ending knee surgery. To bad too. He showed some real potential in the short time he played.

If he can stay healthy, we're going to have a very deep DL next year.
