Yet they seem to ignore a TE who can't be covered quite often.
And in FACT, Jimmy Graham hasn't ALWAYS come up with the TD when he should have, eh?

They rarely throw to him in the Red Zone. Unlike Kearse, who isn't half the player Graham is.

And Kearse has as many receiving TDs as Russ.

It was a strange season for our offense, statistically (and other areas).

Wilson dropped from 34 TDs in 2015 to 21 this season.

Baldwin dropped from 14 TDs in 2015 to 7 this season, 3 of those in one game (@NE).

McEvoy only had 9 catches all season, but 2 were TDs (albeit the one vs GB was in garbage time).

Our 2-3-4 WRs (Kearse, Lockett and Richardson) COMBINED for 3 TD catches. Kearse dropped from 5 TDs to 1 this season, and Lockett's dropped from 6 to 1.

Every season is different, just interesting to see the disparity.

Even when we had Lynch as our feature Back, our Red Zone rushing TD's were still a little bit anemic...That's why there was a lot of angst around here.... having to settle for so many Field Goals, and leaving all those extra points on the field.

If some of y'all remember, Shaun Alexander was prolific as hell in the RZ....Could almost count on him punching the ball in, LOL, that's what having a sensational O-Line can do for ya.

:sarcasm_on: Because the offensive coordinator is not responsible for adapting their playcalling to overcome injuries, personnel problems, nor loss of players. :sarcasm_off:
