With all of the Atlanta Fanboys coming into .net to get spanked, I didn't see anyone point out this nifty statistic. Part of that streak is his 8-3 playoff record (that's a better playoff record than many NFL Teams.)

But the talking heads will tell us he isn't an elite QB.

Yeah he looked great earlier this year when he was hobbled and forced to stay in the pocket, since then its been a roller coaster on accuracy, high, low, behind....not saying he's been working in ideal conditions.....look forward to hearing a full report post SB win on just what he's had to overcome this year.

Here's a fun fact:

I read he's tied with Matt Ryan for the most. If not, he's one ahead.

So if Atlanta wins this weekend, Ryan with either share or hold the record.

Well that's what happens when you play through injuries.

???? Matt Ryan has been in the league for more than 5 years so how could he add to his win total the first 5 years?

Game manager.

Is that was he has become?
As long as he 'manages' to win a lot of games, I don't really care what they call her. ;)

You mean, Flacco. And, it's too late for anyone to catch him...

Currently Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers are tied in playoff wins. That's pretty remarkable.

I don't mean either. The guy I quoted said that if Atlanta wins this weekend Ryan would share or hold the record. It has me totally confused so was asking what he meant - lol

I'm sure he's working through some injury-related mechanics issues. I also have a feeling he's hiding additional injuries. This OL hasn't helped with that.

I believe that most all of the negativity surrounding RW stems from unrealistic expectations. since being drafted he's done nothing but succeed and mostly w/o a very capable OLine in front of him.

He is deadly when the team can run enough to set up the playaction O that he runs so well.

He also holds the record for most fans who refuse to believe in the guy, and enjoy getting on him about every last thing

Yep. According to this article, since Russell became a Seahawk they have more playoff wins than 8 NFL teams in their history.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/russe ... ranchises/

Atlanta -- 7 wins
Detroit -- 7 wins
Cardinals -- 7 wins
Saints -- 7 wins
Buccaneers -- 6 wins
Jaguars -- 5 wins
Bengals -- 5 wins
Texans -- 3 wins

Not a fan of rating QBs by a TEAM's win total, but since the talking heads keep bringing it up...two thumbs up.
