Seahawks haven't been ass kicking good if few years? The Media still talks about "LOB" ? The LOB was dead once Brandon Browder left! I don't see any solid prospects coming up? Is Schneider still hungry?

No, on the condition that John/Pete can show us some sign that they are going to properly invest and/or change their approach to the offensive line. They aren't perfect, but as long as they can show they're willing to learn from their mistakes, I still believe in their ability to build a contender.

If they can't do this, it shows they have a huge blind spot and are just trying the same thing over again and expecting different results. And in that scenerio, at some point, you need to make a change at the top. Long-term mediocrity is about the worst place for a team to be: not good enough to win it all, but not bad enough to force changes.

I usually don't call posts out for being ridiculous but this crossed the line.

Come on man.

Why is this so out there? Until he shows that he cares at all about the offensive line, he should be under just as much scrutiny as anyone else.

Thanks Mrs Bevell for trying to take the heat off of your husband. Won't work.

Threads like this are why .NET is unbearable sometimes.

While we are at it, should we look for a new coach and a new QB too?

Who ever made the call to go into this season with a starting offensive line composed entirely of projects, rejects, and a rookie made a serious (and very predictable) mistake. JS signed off on it so he deserves his share of criticism.

Objectively, we have had a couple bad drafts and questionable off-season moves. It's hurt our depth and our ability to compete in the payoffs.

Replacing John would be silly at this point, but fair to say he needs to do better or we are going to keep falling quickly.

Can we all agree that the offensive line product put out this year was all-time bad?

Like the choices that were made were not even below average but in fact much worse.

Pete Carroll and John Schneider have been putting jv bull crap offensive lines last 2 years. Fant was destroyed tonight. Russel might be a pitch man for Hover around scooter sooner than later.

Ya, firing a GM of a consistent playoff team 2 years after making it to the SuperBowl would be premature to say the least. But at the same time, he definitely deserves some scrutiny after the past 2 seasons where we seem to be heading in the wrong direction.
