Yet we can't do the same with 3 Timeouts and 50 seconds? Russell is the 2nd highest paid QB after Rodgers, if he can't lead us in crunch time, we need a new QB or he needs to take a paycut.

He played not to lose instead of playing to win.

At that point we had ZERO momentum and jut waved the white flag.

What I didn't like was the final play where took their time, and then they ran the ball. Why not just take the knee, because what happens if the RB gets hurt on that play, or worse, a fumble?

Yeah I wasn't thrilled with the run call. I'm assuming, since it happens almost every 2 minute drive, if the run had gotten a decent gain they'd go into hurry. Especially upsetting since Atlanta just stole a ton of momentum and got the ball back after half time.

I know some will say 'but what if they got a turnover!' Well, what if they scored a TD or got a FG like Green Bay? Game had already started to shift, needed some type of spark.

And there again, we were sabotaged by an illegal block by Hunt on the return, setting us back to the 8 instead of the 18.

But yeah, with 3 timeouts remaining, down by 9 and Atlanta getting the ball first in the second half, I wanted to see us press the action and at least try to get 3 back.

If we start on the 25 I think they attack

With the starting position so far back I think they didn't want to give Atlanta the ball back with any time on the clock.

I kind of get it but the problem is they shouldn't have taken that ball out of the endzone and Hester should have been told that

Agreed 100%. Also, Wilson needs to start leading his receivers with the ball and not wait till his receivers are 5 yards wide open.

Shouldn't matter if we are on the 25 yard line or not. Gotta play to win or go home. Hester had they right mentality. He wanted to score.

Why even bother, when the refs called Willson's catch and down by contact an INT without so much as an explanation?

That honestly caught me by surprise, i thought for sure they will atleast try to call a TO and do something. I think they honestly might have mailed it in at that point. They meltdown was already beginning.

I was surprised as well. I think they were more worried about Atlanta using time outs to stop the clock to try to get ball back. Seems like he was playing scared.
