I feel like I dumb ass for asking. I should know this but.........

What season did he start wearing
Thomas III ?

I'm thinking about buying a grey #29 but I'd like one without the "III", anybody know if they are available that way?

I'm guessing that I'd need to have the name plate made as a custom.

I think he started wearing it the year after RG3 (since the NFL said players could customize their jerseys that way when RG3 came into the league), so that would be 2013. His Super Bowl 48 jersey has it, so I think that was the first year he wore it that way.

It couldn't have been before 2012 in any case, as that was the first year it was allowed.

Yep, year after RGKnee, I'm pretty sure. A bunch of players came out with that after the media-popular QB was allowed to change the NFL rules.

Along those same lines, I suppose we should just be thankful that Luck didn't insist on disallowing contact altogether against QBs from defenders; it may have been allowed to happen.

Some players are even putting Sr. after their name. Dumb.

If it is their name, why is that dumb?
It's not their name unless they legally changed their name to add "Senior".
