He started the season at #3 so I'm thinking NFL.com simply never updated their rosters.

Right, in either case, his separation stat is impressive, let's hope he recovers 100%.

Right, in either case, his separation stat is impressive, let's hope he recovers 100%.
Just as impressive is him being #1 in contested catch situations with his size

Clayton had him at #2 but I don't think he differentiated which # receiver he rated him at.

I wondered why NFL.com would have an article talking about a nonsense category like "#3 receiver" but then I saw the author is a fantasy writer.

The definition of "No. 3 receiver" was a player who finished with less than 100 targets on the season and saw at least 50 percent of their targets when lined up out wide.
Because that's exactly what people think of when they think about #3 receivers.
