Two things we should be accustomed to in the PC era of Seahawks football:

1. The head coach is never going to directly reveal his concerns or how he wishes to address them.

2. The head coach will constantly churn the roster until he finds the guys he wants. Now, those guys don't always work out, but I'm hardpressed to find a team that moves players in and out as much as the Seahawks have over the PC era.

Point is, I'd imagine they recognize and address the OL issue. Who knows how that impacts the team next year...

If he wins 10 or more games his seat will be as cool as a cucumber to the touch of the one person that really counts.

Seriously what a dumb thing to say. PC could go 0-16 next year and his seat wouldn't be hot. Man some peoples expectations are just ridiculous.

Ask Jim Mora about how being really bad worked out for him here.

Good article on fieldgulls today

As much as I hate to say it. This is Pete's frayed edge if he doesn't change anything his coaching seat will get hot next year and lead to his retire/fire at the end of 2018 (roughly 700 days from now)

LOL. Belichick replaced his Oline coach because #19 in sack rate was too awful for his standards, then his new coach took them to #6 this year?? Must be nice, huh Russell?
Cable in all his years as a Oline coach has never been better than #20 in pass protection, and usually is somewhere between #24 - #32.
Pete does not hold his coaches to the same standard as his players, so Cable will stay because of Lynch's success.

No team goes 0-16 and their coach is safe.

If we went 0-16? Then that means Pete totally lost it in all facets of his coaching skills. With how much talent we have this team should win at least 8 games with their eyes closed, the other 2-4 wins is what we judge Pete, the coaches and players on.

Exactly! Pete himself admitted to underachieving in 2016 by saying it was the best group of players he's EVER had to coach. He does not have an open end ticket to failure. Saying he could go 0-16 and keep a cool seat is ridiculous, and Paul is not going to settle for a talented team getting clowned again and again.

Who ever said Pete could go 0-16 and not lose his job?

C=mon, a #32 ranked offensive line doesn't mean anything.?

The F.O. knows this.

Do they actually KNOW that there are 32 teams....maybe not.

Right?

They do know it is dead last right?....do we need to tell them?

You guys realize that you are talking about a 65 year old man with a Hot Seat?

Sounds like a medical condition.

This whole topic is insulting................of course we all know we have a terrible O-line, no "expert" needs to tell us that.

At 62 he can still count to 32, I think Al Davis lost that around 82.
