Was Jimmy right to be pissed or does he need to man up?

That was an unusually hard hit for a Pro Bowl, and Jimmy is likely still a little fearful of that horrible knee injury from two seasons ago, but maybe he should have just popped back up like it was no big thing?

As an aside, this is the kind of pass route I wish the Hawks would release Jimmy on much more - 7-10 yard routes that just chew up the field. Is it lack of play calling or RW has trouble seeing over the line, or????

That was nowhere near his knees. He's pissed because the hit came in high. As far as who cares, anyone that could be risking millions of $$ from an injury that is playing in an exhibition game for starters.

Graham getting pissed about that sort of backs up his criticisms of being "soft."

It was a good hit, suck it up and move on

Face mask to face mask in a game where the participants are not expecting to be hit high (sort of illegally) if at all. Its essentially the same as shadow boxing and then having your partner decide to jab you in the face...

But yeah... suck it up..

Going full punish mode was a chickenshit move, and totally unnecessary for a "Let's have some fun" game, where NO ONE is suppose to get an injury.
It's not like they were playing for a damned title or anything.
If you feel the need to that shit do it during the regular season when you're trying to help get your team into the playoffs.
Who the hell was he trying to impress???

It's funnier to me that people are fired up that a player was actually PLAYING.

LOL, this whole conversation is just proof that the Pro Bowl is one big joke and should be done away with entirely. When we get to a point where fans are angry that players are actually playing football? Game over.

Maybe in some parrallel universe, this matters.

Here. NOT.
Maybe doesn't matter to you, but a chickenshit move in a game like this, it absolutely does matter that you don't unnecessarily get concussed.
JG was right to be pissed....If it happened to you?, YOU would have been too.

It's just for fun. They're playing at a reduced speed and intensity. It's purely entertainment for the fans.

So you're right, it shouldn't be real football. It's not a real game, just more of a let's go out and goof off and have some laughs for the fans.

Once you have that in mind, and accept that. It becomes a lot more entertaining.

Whoever that was that hit JG needs to chill the F out. Jesus, totally beyond unnecessary.

Isn't "Proof" of shit, just because you don't like watching the Pro Bowl , doesn't meat that others share your opinion, and wrong as it is, that's all it is >YOUR OPINION<, I myself look forward to seeing a game where the players can have some fun, and not worry about someone deliberately trying to hurt someone.. We hear it all season long...IT'S JUST A GAME!!!!

a 6'1 guy leaving his feet and deliberately going high on a 6'7 guy is BS in the regular season.

Doing it in a Pro Bowl to end somebody is utter BS.
