Not joking.

Only team to beat Brady and the Pats entire season. Even stopped them at the goal line to win. Not even trolling. What outweighs head to head? Congrats, bros. It was a great season.

but we lost to the team that lost to the team we beat, at best we are in a 3 way circle jerk.

Best in the league in 1986 when we beat both the Giants and Broncos and didn't make the playoffs. That was the best team not to win the bowl.

What a ridiculous post. We collectively took a dump in our pants against the Bucs, Rams, Saints, Packers, Cards, and 49ers last game of the year.

You proud of the 14-5 loss against the Bucs? 38-10 blow out against GB? The 6-6 tie with Arizona, aka the worst game I've ever watched? PS that game was worse than Chuck Whitehurst losing to the Browns.

Yeah... so would that make the '14 Chiefs the best team that year? Or the '13 Colts?

It's great that the Hawks beat the Pats, but it really don't mean much now, unfortunately. :/

LOL
Hard to compare a meaningless mid season game with the Super Bowl.

^ this...Pats were not playing great in that game but at least the Hawks didn't fold the tent on the lead. If Hawks were the best NFC team they should of been in the super bowl.

No. Just no. Getting to hoist the Lombardi is what you get to do it you are the best. All we hoisted was Matt Ryan's jock to the NFC Championship game.

TBF it would also probably make the BIlls the best team in the league this year, as they blanked the Patriots and beat them by three scores instead of one.

The Bills.

Let me say that again. The Bills.

Not so fast there, professor. We beat the Patriots (and the Bills), the Rams beat us, and the 49ers beat the Rams, making the 49ers the best team in the league.

That's how it works, right?

The Seahawks were very far from being the best. Maybe best at being bi-polar.

I did however, save that game vs. NE just to watch some football in May or thereabouts.

If that's the case, when do we get our Super Bowl LI rings?

It don't matter who you beat in the regular season. All that matters is if your team is holding up the Lombardi in the end. Thats the yearly expectation now for Seahawks football. Unfortunately the Pats game is when the Seahawks peaked. They arguably might have been the best team at that point in the season but we all saw of course that was a mirage as it quickly went downhill from there.

It wasn't a meaningless win; it was a tremendous confidence-builder to beat that team on the road. The team should still be very proud of that.

It's really a shame that we lost both Procise and Lockett. Huge assets on O.

True but their losses didn't impact the Hawks like the loss of Earl. Getting those three guys back healthy this year is a must.

I think Procises's loss was definitely big because it was in November and he was really playing well. Lockett was in the AZ game, but C.J. was a big part of the offense for a few weeks and we were rolling then.
