I know it's the wrong forum for this but there are a lot of people in this area scared to death. And most likely family of some of those people that are scared as well. I have some good news. The waters are lowering in the lake it was spilling over at. 902 feet. The water level is now at 896 feet.
45,000 cubic feet of water a second are going into the lake however 100,000 cubic feet a second are being removed from the lake. I hope this news brings some ease to people out there. It's not over yet but it sounds like it's under control.

I thought about you & NorCal last night when my mom called to tell me they were being evacuated. Stay safe. Hopefully the rainstorm scheduled to hit the area Wednesday/Thursday doesn't exacerbate the situation.
