    Yes and yes.

We're down to the 3rd wave of the bargain bin free agents who are picking up the one year deal scraps. So if we do sign more free agents, it'll be the "hey come on in and if you make it past training camp we'll give you some money" deals.

Francois would be decent depth, and with McDaniels gone, we need DT depth.
If there is no Seahawk football in heaven, then we will never die.

  • They signed Brown per various reports.

Clady may be the veteran OL they talked about wanting in the room.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I assume we're doing this instead of bringing back Tony McDaniel.

McDaniel is cheap and decent. Francois has always been a backup hasn't he?

I wonder why Condotta thinks this is an interesting tweet. It's a picture of a Seahawk logo in Sea-Tac Airport.

  • Another LB visiting.

I like how JS is working to fill positions with vets who can improve the competition and give them max flexibility in the draft.

  • Something interesting to me is that we have only brought in 1 defensive lineman for a visit. I think most of us here agreed that depth at the defensive line is an area of concern and I know I thought myself it would be more of a priority in FA. I'd love to see them add some competition for situational pass rush whether that be on the edge or (more preferably) in the middle at 3T.

With that said, FA isn't over and the second wave as cuts start to happen is another area John will likely be active in. Of course there is the draft coming too and maybe that's why they haven't been looking at many D-lineman. Maybe they have someone targeted specifically in the draft?

Yeah. Apparently didn't mean anything. Too expensive.
