Interesting signing... He's athletic, pretty good in coverage... and pretty bad every where else.

Min for a 4 year vet is 775k

Brown is a former 2nd Round picked drafted by the Ravens, let go in cutdowns, and kicked around the league with the Jags, Jets. 0 starts in 48 games active.

At 6-0, 240 has an average athletic profile.

There's a tiny connection, he's Bryce Brown's younger brother. At least that's what is reported on Wikipedia.

This signing is fairly meaningless. I don't think he'll ever see the field unless its special teams somehow.

Another high draft pick let go in his option year after underwhelming on the field. Pete seems to like those ...

Also, Carroll tried to recruit Arthur Brown to USC, but he ended up going to Miami instead. It was later found out he was paid off by notorious Miami booster Nevin Shapiro.

Brown has never been a good special teams player, which would make it even more challenging for him to stick here.
