Guys got a strong leg, hit a 60 yarder in college. Accuracy could be an issue though. Only about 60% in college.

2 words my friend. 2 words. Tom Cable.
Yes. Tom will fix him up ... He might only be hitting 60% now, but by the end of next season, he should be close to 90% ... thanks to Tom Cable !!!

No ammunition... no jokes. Mass ammunition... mass jokes. Not hard to figure out what to expect this season.

His College stats are clearly not great - but to be fair, he is not in the NFL, nor has he actually played in the NFL.

He was in training camp last season with the 49ers, played in 3 preseason games and made 1 xp. He was signed in January to a futures contract by TB, but just waived when they signed a veteran kicker (Folk I believe). I have no idea where you got the info that he kicked 2 xps for TB. He has with Tampa Bay for about 6 weeks this winter.

Only reason he is even getting any consideration is because he has a incredibly strong leg.....will likely be cut before the first preseason game in favor of another project coming in to "compete". Much like the long-snapper position last offseason, I fully expect the kicker position to be a revolving door.

Looks like it was pre season for SF. The initial search said he was on the Tamba Bay roster. John Lunsford. Let's take the condescension down a notch. The point was he was terrible. Usually a player has to be extraordinary in college to make an NFL team. The opinion that the position will be a revolving door and that the guy has a strong leg is duly noted.

I'm awaiting Uncle Si's report on our kicking situation. When it comes to booting balls, there's no one I trust more.

Boom! Guy has a leg!

Accuracy? Not so much.

You can develop accuracy. Power - a lot tougher to do.

Kid has a shot.
