Swoopes flourished as a junior in the 18 Wheeler sub package, scoring a team-high 12 touchdowns while averaging 6.1 yards per carry as a goal line and short-yardage specialist. While he has a nose for the end zone, it’s the fluidity and hands he showed during his pro day workout that turned heads and showed scouts he might have a future at the next level at tight end.

A source close to Swoopes told Horns247 on Saturday evening that the Seahawks are intrigued about using Swoopes as a quarterback in goal-line packages. Swoopes could get serious consideration in that type of role while developing and learning from Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham.

I like the attempt to compare Swoopes to Njoku based on raw physical attributes.

Say yes to more options....Two TE sets in the Red Zone, with one being a QB/TE AND Eddie Lacey, or Algernon Brown, or Chris Carson + a fleet of foot Russell Wilson...Who draws the most attention?

I hope this guy works because I was bummed the Seahawks didn't draft a TE with in this years deep
class. Swoopes has all the measurable and the QB to big receiver switch is one that has been relatively common in the NFL.
