April 30th is Walter Jones Day. It was during all the draft dust up so I can see how we missed it. But seriously this dude was awsome.
When Walter Jones retired he was protecting the blind side for 5,703 pass attempts, Jones allowed 23 sacks and was called for nine holding penalties. That's one holding penalty for every 633 pass attempts and two sacks per season. He also went from 1999-2004 with ZERO sacks allowed.
Even the New York Times did a little bit with a video tribute.
