Do we learn anything regarding Malil with this move to 53 players. He is still on the non-football injury list but does this mean he cannot be reinstated for a certain number of weeks (like the PUP) or can he still be added to the roster at any time?

NFI works like PUP. He cam come back after 6 weeks but it seems doubtful he plays this year.

They are going to attempt to sign Richardson to a long term deal according to Peter King. That does not bode well for Jason ever coming out of the woods to play ball IMO.

Also of he stays on NFI all year his rookie year doesn't count. So next year would be his rookie year.

Bennett, Chancellor, Thomas, Wilson, Sherman all have big contracts and we structure them in a way that doesn't handicap us. I think John will be creative here as well, especially going to next year with a year older and more expensive hits other players.
