Can we have some more? 3-2 going into the Bye with the defense hitting their stride? I'll take it.

Watching the offense hurts my brain.

Playing not to lose is for middle schoolers.

I rarely agree with the announcers, but calling that slant to Jimmy Graham, who has proven himself to not be clutch, instead of a zone read option on that late 3rd and 2 was nuts. Granted, they got the field goal, but that game would've been over if Russell runs for those 2 yards. The ending was a lot more exciting than it needed to be.

It isn't 'Winning Ugly'

It is one-sided football.

Our defense had to get 5 turnovers to manage to win it in the final seconds.

Do you expect our defense to produce 5 turnovers regularly?

The Hawks did not win this game Earl Thomas and our D kept us from losing it.

The Hawk offense is basically a bunch of coattail riders, and it is probably the fault of our incompetent OC more than the offensive players being that horrendous.

That play call was mind numbingly stupid. Also Rawls ran hard all game, why are we not giving him the ball? These coaches outthink everything, instead of just doing what provides the best opportunity for you to win. Dare you call a bubble screen on 3rd and 2? You know Bevell's favorite play call in the world.

It's just bad coaching, and not that I care but some people are ok with it.

Play to win, not this sissy stuff.

Also why do we call the same running play twice in a row, does Bevell know he can call different types of running plays?

Gotta remember this is our division rival and our kryptonite so I think we did pretty well considering we've scored less and won and less and lost to these guys

Rams pass rush was as effective as it's been in recent years, wrecking clear plans to test those backup safeties while Donald and the D line shut down most of the rush to leave few options on the table.

And yet, I'll happily watch this game again, more than once, to see resilience, genuine adjustments (hurrah!!) and stellar defensive play.

So are we going to set a record for unhappy posts after a win this week?

This is the first game vs. the Rams in several years where the offense could actually sustain drives. The play-calling may have been maddening, but the O-line weren't doing their semi-annual imitation of subway turn-styles (well, Odhiambho has at least one of those every game).

It wasn't beautiful, and yes, the defense did carry the day against the highest scoring offense in the league, and we got a hard fought road victory against a Divisional opponent.

Enjoy it, man.

I gotta disagree. Either our o line took a step forward this game or the Rams were less disruptive than in previous years.

Could've been 28-10 Seahawks with as dominant as Seattles D was

It would have been with any other offense in the league.

The offensive line has been playing better.

The defense played great.

The offense leaves so much to be desired week in and week out.

LOL! Some people are completely unrealistic.

We NEVER win @Rams. EVERYBODY picked the Rams with their #1 offense, and they're ELITE defense to win!

Look at the high FIRST ROUNDERS on that defense!

This is the NFL. Big wins against teams like the Rams, @ their house don't happen!

Good Lord.

The good - Seahawks win
The bad - Seahawks offense only scored 16 pts ( they had 5 turnovers by the defense but couldn't capitalize much)
The ugly - The CBS announcers slobbering over the Rams for 60+ minutes

This was a statement game.

The NFCW still belongs to your Seattle Seahawks.

Pretty much this.

I believe one of the announcers called us The Seahacks.

Good god, those announcers were terribly biased. They praised Goff so much and he played absolutely terrible against our D.

Reminds me of when we played the Rams back when they were in St. Louis at their place when Mike Martz called a game. Anyone remember that? Now that was atrocious.

I'm usually all on the unhappy after a crappy win train but this felt like the kind of win, with big plays by the D and an O actually able to stay on the field, that presage a playoff run.
