  • I don't see this being an easy game at all. With the way the offense has looked do you really expect them to score a bunch on any halfway competent defense? They have one of the top defensive lines in the league, which is pretty much our kryptonite. The saving grace is that their offensive line is probably worse than ours. They may not score at all, I expect this to look a lot like the Ram's game though overall.

  • I just want what I call a "workmanlike" game. Would love to see earlier scoring, of course, not waiting until the second half.

It looks like our D can contain their offense, so if we could put up at least 3 long scoring drives with at least 2 TDs in there, we'll probably be OK. If the D can get a couple of turnovers, with a short field, another 2-3 scores could be possible.

I don't want to see some 9-6 nail-biter abomination, though I would take it and complain minimally. ;)
Talent can get you to the playoffs.

I know it was a rhetorical question, but the highest scoring game (both by an individual team and by combined teams) was the 113 points scored in the 1966 Redskins 72 vs Giants 41 game.

Their offense is their weakness, not their defense. Hawk strength is defense not offense. No scoring records are in danger.

  • Have tickets for Next Sunday at the Meadowlands. Sitting third row behind the Seahawks bench. I will take some pics and post them and give my best post game analysis as we move forward into the season. After watching Philly last night we need to raise the ladder to continue to compete in the NFC. Fletcher Cox looked unstoppable.

  • It was only a few years back that our offense looked out of sync and hopeless, then we went on an east coast trip and scored like 3 50 burgers in a row. The offense caught fire right after that and we picked up momentum for a playoff run. I don't know if that'llhappen again or not but this trip sure does feel like it could start something!

  • A great reminder, if anyone needed one, that the Giants are an NFL team. As such ... any given Sunday ...
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

Doesn't matter what fans think or say, we are not on the field. We can be over confident and as obnoxious as we want to be and it has ZERO impact on game results.

  • The Seahawks don't underestimate any team, 1-5 or 5-1. Their confidence going into Met Life has to be sky high considering our record there in recent years. As long as they treat this as another "Championship Game" they will be fine.

A +58 scoring differential at MetLife for the Hawks the last two games.

  • I was hoping the Giants would get crushed last night, which would have probably meant McAdoo getting fired today.

But instead they circled the wagons, simplified every aspect of their schemes and punched the Broncos in the mouth in their own house. Impressive win.

So now we got a good ol' fashioned dogfight on our hands.

Rule #1 of the NFL, NEVER underestimate a desperate team.............and right now the Giants are a desperate team.

  • There are no gimmes in the NFL. The Giants gave over play calling to there OC for the first time against the Broncos. It seems to have worked. This means we only have one game to review with this guy making the play calls. It will be a harder chess match. I still feel we win but it is not as easy as some make it to be.

I am sure the Huskies and Cougars had that same confidence this past weekend, Broncos as well. We don't have a Championship swagger so far this season, we escaped from L.A. with a win, have not looked dominant in any of our games regardless of score so far this season. Even the Colts game those observing could see chinks in the armor, we just had a lot more overall talent and as stated they were The Colts, it should have been a beat down yet we made a back up QB and a line missing a Center look almost adequate.

Championship teams are not always dominant. When we won the Super Owl we did not roll over teams the whole schedule. We had our share of close games and struggles. Not many teams just roll on there way to Super Bowl. The Panthers did two years ago and look where it got them.....

Maybe not always, but most times, looks towards East Coast and see's smiling Brady.

Might want to work on a different example, considering the Pats have lost two games at home already this season and are about 3-4 plays that could have gone either way from being 1-5...

I am sure the Huskies and Cougars had that same confidence this past weekend, Broncos as well. We don't have a Championship swagger so far this season, we escaped from L.A. with a win, have not looked dominant in any of our games regardless of score so far this season. This is true and we won those close games in our SB year. That's what champions do. We will have to see what type of team we are this year.

Difference is during Super Bowl years we don't look out classed and out coached.

  • Hey anyone else going to the game Sunday? I have two seats in the third row behind Seahawks bench. Hope to bring home a win and great pics of the team. It will be my first time seeing them live.
