Direct quote from the "official site"

"We can expect Richard Sherman all jacked up on Adderall shooting his mouth of and looking like a Horse's rear end.

We can expect Michael Bennett (Political Content).

We can expect one or two kill shots each from Kam Chancellor/Earl Thomas.

We can expect Russel Wilson escaping 8-10 near sacks and then throwing the ball downfield with pin-point precision."

Some respect and some trash talking at the same time.

Sherman should just play and keep his mouth shut. Other than that.....meh.

So what I got from both sites was:

Bennett is a liar.

A Pete Carroll Q&A.

Game is on CBS.

Manning and Wilson is a tie.

Jackrabbit and Collins are equal to Sherman and Thomas but the edge for the Defensive backfield goes to Seattle.

Their D line is better than Seattle's.

Seattle's O-line is even worse than theirs.

Seattle has no running game.

Seattle's D is susceptible to getting gashed in the run.

Past history shows that Seattle is weak against defending TE's advantage them.

My impression is that the fans over their believe that the teams are pretty even but they believe that their D is going to absolute destroy our offense. That and our D is inconsistent against the run and is susceptible to poor TE coverage topped with home field advantage and this one is in the bag for them. Only thing that seems to concern them is RW's legs.

Guess an argument can be said for most of their beliefs. Only one that made my eyes roll was that Jackrabbit(Janoris Jenkins) and Collins are equal to Sherman and Thomas. Yeah......ok.

JackRabbit and Collins are All Pro.....how do you top that? Collins is a freak of nature and nearly copped NFL Defensive MVP last year......only his sophomore status prevented it. This year he was playing on a bum ankle- its fully healed

Assuming you will outplay them is not thought out well

Never said they were not good. They are not as good as Sherman or Thomas. I suppose I could take the opinion coming from a Giants homer that they would consider the 4 as equals as a complement to our players though.

Would you trade your pair for ours even up? Collins is young.....I suppose its possible gets even better
The real issue for you is Robinson and Goodson at LBer, if you call the other 2 awash what do you counter for Goodson and Robinson? Snacks? JPP? A guy you probably never heard of Kerry Wynn

If your D is as good as most of you seem to think.........we might be seeing the best 2 D's in the NFL squaring off

A scout nu-named said the Giants under MacAdoo wandered off their main success formula,- smmash mouth, Run- stop the Run- batter the opponents QB...........I think we are back on course now

The level of homer for a 1-5 team is astounding. Do you honestly think you'll run the table when the NFC East consistently has every team around .500? I absolutely can see the Giants splitting every series going forward with Eli throwing up a 9-24 125 yards and 3 INT stinker sitting on the sidelines with his classic Eli look.

Bobby Wagner is actually playing as a top 3 LB this season and ranked #1 by PFF and you just shrug him off compared to your unit?

Yes Collins is very good and going forward will be a top safety in the NFL. Earl Thomas has been the player at the top for ~5 years now. He is the #1 reason the defense plays the way it does and has been so consistently dominant.

Giants defense has become much better which is something to be proud of and look forward to watching grow, but you act like everyone is a perennial pro bowler on a unit that only recently has become better. I guess it comes with the territory though, I know Jets fans are also claiming to be playoff bound after wanting to fire every member of the coaching staff while tanking early on.

Hey never said you didnt have a good D

They are good

Give us a bit of credit.....last year we were #2 in points allowed
This is not a sudden phenomena

The O McDousfuss/Marshall/Perkins got us to this point...........all have been disabled, cut off, take a seat

Are you for real? Janoris Jenkins for Richard Sherman. We talking about the same mediocre Janoris Jenkins of the Rams that we've seen play all these years? And trading Earl Thomas is beyond laughable. I wouldn't trade Thomas for BOTH of those two guys.

And with two all pros in your secondary, you'd think your pass defense would be better than it is. It was ranked 24th last year, and currently ranked 24th so far this year.

All pro nods are nice. We know. Earl and Sherm have a bunch. But performance on the field is what matters.

Um no. Actually, Seattle was #2. Giants were #4. And your two all pro DBs led a pass defense ranked #24.

Hey as long as they don't score they can have 1000 yds passing

It was our red zone D that made that possible.

Our D line has regressed a tad but our LBers are very good this year. Eli Apple is finally playing like a #1 pick

Were doing OK now..........the first 4 games the O was horrific and the D got gassed.

Except we see our flaws, just read other threads, we are in multiple stages of transition and attempting to plug holes yet, happens to every team. Defense has to play to many minutes, offense lack luster and the O line in disarray injuries and shuffle, RB's coming off injury or injured, all blend to make a team ugly to watch yet we still somehow win right now. Getting things right in a few spots will start the ball rolling for us, just as long as more things don't go wrong.

Giants could be butt ugly game or a game that starts the momentum rolling post bye week for us. That's our problem, just don't know how the cards are going to be dealt week to week in every game.

One of the more important stats - Points per game allowed, puts the Hawks at 6th. That includes already playing the Rogers-led Packers, the Titans with Mariotta healthy, and the Rams' top-flight offense (to that point in the season).

Also of note, Hawks passing D is 9th. This isn't the "no fly zone" either. Eli will complete passes underneath, as we allow. But will struggle to get anything long or in the RZ. This, combined with the Giants average offense suggests a low scoring game, since the Hawks O has yet to realize they're actually playing NFL level ball.

Oh cripes, passive aggressive much? No one said you "mussed up our board" at least not in this thread. Tuck your tail and run if you want but don't expect any of us to buy into your self indulged overconfidence. The Giants are 1-5 right now and you sure have a lot of hubris considering that fact of having just one good win. It is laughable that you believe that every game (yes you let off that vibe) hence forward is going to go that way for you.
