Making assumptions while using incomplete data...By that I mean, many here are ASSUMING that the players with minimal experience on the Offensive Line are savvy enough to execute their assignments without any glitches.....we all Know that that's not how it's been going down.Sports Hernia":eb8afxeb said:So they are saying what most of us have suspected. Great find, thanks to the OP, for posting that.
Our eyes aren’t lying apparently. Game planning and play calling needs to get better in 1st halves of games.

Play-calls have to be adjusted accordingly.
This isn't excuses, it's facts.
A semi decent Run game would help TREMENDOUSLY in helping to set up the Passing attack, and right now Bevell is forced to keep it simple.
The players on the O-Line seem to be doing a better job but they still have a long ways to go before they're even playing LEAGUE AVERAGE level football.
Because for the most part, early in ALL the games, the "Quick Release" has been thwarted.MontanaHawk05":159l7cng said:scutterhawk":159l7cng said:Making assumptions while using incomplete data...By that I mean, many here are ASSUMING that the players with minimal experience on the Offensive Line are savvy enough to execute their assignments without any glitches.....we all Know that that's not how it's been going down.Sports Hernia":159l7cng said:So they are saying what most of us have suspected. You really are determined to keep the blame limited to one place.
Why is it so hard to accept the idea that calling quick-release plays might discourage blitzes and thus make things easier on the line?

Oh contrare' they DID try and go with the quick release, only to have Wilson having to throw the ball away because the O-Line didn't even slow down the attackers, and he STILL took a hit for his troubles.MontanaHawk05":nbifozn4 said:scutterhawk":nbifozn4 said:Because for the most part, early in ALL the games, the "Quick Release" has been thwarted.MontanaHawk05":nbifozn4 said:Why is it so hard to accept the idea that calling quick-release plays might discourage blitzes and thus make things easier on the line?
Wat?
They're not even TRYING the quick release in the first half. That's my whole point, and the point of the OP. Their playbook looks entirely different in the first half because they're calling plays that don't cater to the strengths of the offense. They basically just play in limbo.

The entire O-Line wound up on their backs.

why DO you capitalize random WORDS?
the offense DIDNT try to utilize the quick passing GAME in the first HALF.
