Dilly Dilly! For real though he was good today should had a couple of more touchdowns if people could catch the ball but overall pretty good.

He was decent but he could have been better if he didn't call those god awful running plays. Kept going to Eddie Lacy. Take the good with the bad.

The deep routes were open all game and he schemed WIDE open receivers 3 consecutive RZ trips. One bad throw by Russ to Rawls (admittedly Rawls can't handle much), one bad throw to McKissic, and then one wide open to Graham in the back of the end zone although if Graham is wide open in the end zone I give an assist to the Houston D.

Offense rolls when pass pro is adequate, even when run blocking is absent. This ain't Lynch carrying the team and an anemic pass offense.

You must run some in order for play action to even have a chance to work. There weren't too many; just enough.

Bevell consistently has me questioning what they're doing on offense at least once every game, it's been less so of recent but it's still without fail.

Agreed. However I question his personnel choices. No reason to give majority of the carries to Lacy. Especially when Lacy doesn't have the acceleration needed to get back to LOS.

It was fun sending the Texans to the Pit Of Misery.

This.

What often sold the play action was the OL, believe it or not.

There were a many play-action plays where the OL used a ZBS run blocking scheme (modified) as pass protection. Fooled Clowney on multiple occasions and caused the LBs and safeties to bite forward.

Bevell should be thanking his lucky stars every morning RW is his QB, and PC is his head coach.

Props to Bevell though for actually booting RW out in the redzone.

2 of RWs Tds came on boot action. If Bevell keeps booting Russ down there the red zone offense will pick up.

Bevell still sucks. One of the worst called games I have ever seen. This was all on Russ.

To be fair, the main reason we scored 41 points was because the defense gave up 38. If the defense had given up 13 we'd have played far more conservatively and leaned on our ineffective running game.

He drew up some creative plays. The one to tre madden was good defense never saw it coming that was a critical play. You have to understand that even if the runs arent working you still have to call them to keep the defense honest so they dont expect a pass every time.

Bevell did a good job of drawing up plays to spread the ball around and wilson did usual wilson stuff when plays broke down. I just want them to unleash graham a little more now he still has potential to be a serious threat.

I'm hoping that they're trying to squeeze out the last possibility of a Lacy explosion in the hopes of justifying the signing, before they sigh and put Rawls back in.

So Graham's first TD where Bevell fooled the Texan's defense into thinking it was a run play with the run formation, then used Baldwin's double team on the right to clear out the corner so all Russell had to do was throw to the corner without even seeing if Graham was open first?

That's all Russell? Riiiiight.
