Does anybody know if there is actually a correct way to display the Hawk Logo?

I know that most of the time it’s “beak-right” but I’ve seen it both ways, even on “nfl approved” gear.

I can’t find anything “official” on this.

I’m aware this is the old color.

Left looks weird.

I've never seen it left unless it's mirroring something (e.g. helmet decal).

On the .com site it is right everywhere

Not sure. I would say it depends on what side of whatever it is the emblem is put on. Beak should always point forward as with the American flag (stars face forward at all times) on a solider's uniform (same as our helmet). Just an opinion though.

Yea, I’m aware of that much.

We have a few around these parts that are gurus when it comes to this stuff.
I’m looking for an “official” NFL or Team stance/guideline.

Forward is the correct answer. If it's on something stationary, it's left to right, but if it's on the driver side of your car, it's right to left.

Every logo should look like it’s moving from left to right. So beak is on the right.
Hate when people get it backwards and use the 2011 version.

In this case it's facing the Steelers... You wouldn't want it facing away (ie You want to face the enemy headon not running away)

Having the beak point left is like hanging the American flag upside down.

It signifies dire distress?

THE UNITED STATES FLAG CODE
Title 4, Chapter 1

§ 8(a)The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property

I've bought custom seahawk head logos for my truck opposing so that they both face forward on the front fenders behind the headlights, They both look great from either side. So my reply is that there is no correct "way" to display the Hawk Logo. If you look at the helmets they oppose there as well. Anytime you see right and left logos presented they oppose.
Heads opposing
In trying to secure various logos for my truck, I've had difficulty finding them opposing which is frustrating since it limits my options in some instances. My thoughts for whatever they are worth :).

Go Seahawks!
