I’ve seen in a long time.

Pete should have started managing the clock with about 4:30 left in the game.

Yes they played poorly in a few areas but we had a chance in the end.

Clock management killed our chances IMO.

Yep good thing we burned a timeout to try to get a two point conversion because hey, Washington might miss the extra point if they get a TD.

Yea, that was a stupid call. I don't get Pete sometimes.

Imagine being OCD and having to watch him coach. It's like stabbing yourself in the eyes.

It's ALWAYS about the little things and most importantly prep in every single aspect in life.

Pete is great at motivating teams with already superior talent. Not so great at X & O's, not to mention he's extremely conservative.

Take the penalty anyway. I'd prefer a play from the 7 rather than the 2, especially with the current OC's track record.

Exactly what i thought, take the 5 yds and have more room to operate. Those to's would have come in handy i'd think at the end ffs.
Too often pete can be a real idiot.

It was everything

It was 2.40 left on the clock and we let over 10 seconds go before we took the time-out

It was going for two for the miracle chance that they miss the extra point followed by making it worse by wasting a time-out

Followed by not spiking the ball and basically having 20 seconds and a time-out to get 15 yards for a FG or more for the win

It is the lack of attention to details which by the way is behind the what 100 penalties we had in this game (I may be rounding down...)

In Pete's defense nobody was thinking Washington was gonna score in 30 seconds and we would need that timeout. I thought it was good they took it and was smart trying to go up 6. Pete's horrible at managing the clock but today It wasn't the reason we lost.

^ 1) it was 1.30 left

2) go look in game day forum. I stated there how dumb it was because they may score a TD

3) The only reason to go for 2 is related to them scoring a TD. So everything you do have to be best decision based on them scoring a TD.

How many extra points are missed though? So just in case they score it's better to be up 3. It was the right call at the time now when the Redskins scored in 30 seconds which is highly unlikely it turns into the wrong call.

^ wrong options

The best was to be up 5 over being up 4 with a small chance at being up6

The decision has to be made also based on what team you are

If I gave you a million dollars and you had to bet on Seahawks scoring on ONE play from the 2 yard line or not score - then what would you pick?

After the last three games I think a lot of us would bet on No score. So since we suck from 2 out let's be smart
